Both communities have carving sheds and traditional fish smoke houses. Guided visitors are welcome. As there is not time to tour the entire valley in one day, clients would choose their preference of two-three items.

These guided adventures bring clients to beautiful and breath taking sights such as huge cascading waterfalls, glaciers and majestic mountains carpeted with massive trees that are centuries old. We may offer a few a guided adventure that will include a visit to natural hot springs that you will not find on any map. Clients choose the day's agenda, suggesting what they'd prefer to see.

From caves and burrows, black, grizzly, brown and kermodi bears emerge, many protecting furry cubs. Song birds, geese and ducks begin their northern migration, many making their homes in local areas. Moose, wolves, mountain goats, deer, fox, cougar, Lynx, eagles, osprey, and a myriad of other wildlife become much more active and visible. Spring in British Columbia is simply breathtakingly beautiful.

Guided Summer Wildlife Adventures

Guided summer wildlife adventure charters lead you to valleys where the warm summer sun nutures lush and green vegetation where the sharp scent of pine fills the air as bear, moose, deer and other wildlife fatten on the abundance of food. Wild berries grow in profusion, and spawning salmon swarm up rivers and streams, providing bears with the body fat that they will need to survive a long winter sleep. The trees are filled with birds singing, bees are busy gathering pollen, gurgling streams, rivlets and creeks meander through the forests on their way to join rivers and lakes. The haunting call of loons echo through morning and evening mists as timid deer graze in its concealment. Eagles and hawks sweep the skies overhead as fox and wolves skillfully hunt below. Learn the stories and local legends of the land as you visit remote aboriginal communities. Guided summer wildlife adventures are always filled with exciting sights, sounds and experiences.

Guided Fall Wildlife Adventures

Guided fall wildlife adventures begin as deciduous tree leaves turn blazing reds, oranges and golds while deer, elk and moose begin to runt and beaver busily stock their huts with tender branches and shoots for the approaching winter. Ducks and geese begin their noisy southern migration as bears feast from thousands of salmon in rivers, reaching their largest size before their winter hibernation. The fall landscape of northwest British Columbia, painted with spectacular color and full of amazing sights, is one of the most beautiful places in the world to be and see.

Guided Winter Wildlife Adventures

Guided winter wildlife adventures are an excellent bug-free time to view a wide variety of spectacular song, fowl and raptor bird species including beautiful snow white Tundra Swans. It's the perfect season for the less adventurous, who prefer to avoid encounters with bears, as these giant carnivores hibernate. There is an abundance of moose and deer to see, and if you are "chosen", from the forest's shadows wolves may reveal themselves to you. Stay on the lookout for illusive Lynx, ermine, weasels, owls and a long list of other wildlife. During the winter months, our local waterfalls transform into giant cascading pillars of ice, sometimes each more than thirty meters tall. The entire landscape is blanketed with a deep carpet of glizzening white snow. Strap on those snowshoes, or cross country skis, and experience a fascinating winter world that few will ever get to know.
